Toughened Glass

Toughened glass is made by heating annealed glass to approximately 700 degrees Celsius then cooling the outer surfaces rapidly. This process makes the glass very strong and shock resistant thus more durable. The capabilities range from cylindrical single curves, to complex non cylindrical with tight radius curves and tangents.

Laminated Glass

Curved laminated glass is produced by permanently bonding two pieces of glass together with an interlayer or resin. The interlay acts to hold the glass together in the event of a breakage. Laminated curved glass can be made up of any combination of glass types. Curved laminated glass is custom made for each project and as such can be produced to meet a variety of designs; whether this is a complex curve with flat tangents or a straight forward cylindrical curve. Curved annealed glass is used in applications that do not require the use of safety glass. This includes some windows and shopfitting situations. Curved annealed glass can be produced to custom designs and has the advantage of being able to be cut and processed after it has been bent to its desired shape/form.
